Everyone knows what doctors, lawyers or teachers do. But, for example, do you know what a Lego builder does? Lego builders make models for Legoland theme parks all over the world. Erik Varszegi is a master Lego builder. Born in 1968, Erik Varszegi grew up with comic books. Now, he builds superheroes full time. Varszegi has many people's dream job. He's a Lego master builder and there are only seven people like him in the United States. His newest Lego model is a 183 cm tall, 70 kg model of Captain America. Varszegi's team spent 277 hours shaping 25,984 Lego bricks into the image of Chris Evans. Chris Evans plays the Marvel hero Captain America in the Avengers movie series. Erik Varszegi always liked drawing and painting when he was a kid. He studied sculpture and design at Manchester Community College in Manchester, Connecticut, United States. Mr. Varszegi had a video store before starting to work for Lego Group. His wife saw an ad in the local newspaper for a model builder position at the Lego offices, but he didn't get the job the first time he applied, but the company called back for a new opening a year later, so he started to work for Lego Group in 1995.
