Dear John,
I have stayed in Istanbul for a week. I went sightseeing around İstanbul last Monday, but I forgot my map, so I got lost. I took a taxi back to the hotel, and it was costly, but I saw lots of exciting places. Everywhere was colorful and beautiful so I made lots of photos. Last Tuesday, I went to the beach because I love swimming. Last Wednesday, I stayed in the hotel because the weather was nasty. Last Thursday, I went to the shopping mall, and I bought Adele’s new album. Also, I went to the Dolmabahçe Palace because I like to visit historical places. Last Friday, I went to the cinema because I wanted to watch a horror movie. Last Saturday, I met my friends. We went to the cinema and shopping mall. We had so much fun! I ate at a local restaurant every night because the foods are very delicious. I decided to stay here for another week.

Bir haftadır İstanbul’dayım. Geçen pazartesi turistik yerleri görmeye gittik. Ama haritamı unuttum ve kayboldum. Otele dönmek için taksiye bindim ama çok pahalıydı. Ama birçok ilginç yer gördüm. Her yer çok renkli ve çok güzeldi. Bir sürü fotoğraf çektim. Geçen Salı, plaja gittim ve yüzmeyi çok seviyorum. Geçen Çarşamba, otelde kaldım çünkü hava çok kötüydü. Geçen Perşembe, alışveriş merkezine gittim ve Adele’nin yeni albümünü aldım. Ayrıca Dolmabahçe sarayına gittim. Çünkü tarihi yerleri gezmeyi seviyorum. Geçen hafta sinemaya gittim, çünkü korku filmi izlemek istedim. Geçen cumartesi arkadaşlarımla buluştum. Sinemaya ve alışveriş merkezine gittik. Çok eğlendik. Yerel restoranlar da her akşam yemek yedik çünkü yemekler çok lezzetliydi. Bir hafta daha burada kalmaya karar verdim.
