—Fairy chimneys were formed by the erosion of the ground by the flood waters coming out of the thin, arid basins and Kırgıbayır surfaces and descending from the valley slopes.From the prehistoric times, Cappadocia remained under the rule of the Hittites, Persians, Romans, Byzantines, Selcuks and Ottomans, respectively.Today,fairy chimneys has conical bodies that look like mushroom caps or hats, which attract many tourists.The interiors, on the other hand, consist of old items and a few rooms that give the feeling of a museum.
