Lion
The lion, known as the King of the Forest, is a wild cat that has a long body, large head and short legs. Its coat is generally rather short and varies in color. For example, it can be orange-brown, silvery gray or dark brown. They also have outstanding manes. The lions are very big animals with massive muscles and a full-grown male weighs about 170-230 kg while he is about 1.8-2.1 metres long, apart from its 1 metre-long tail. The male lions are larger than the females. A lion can eat 5 kg of meat a day and they are famous for their roars as they can be heard from 8 km away. They live up to 16 years.
