Cevap :

İki fiili birlikte kullandığımızda farklı fiil kurguları uygularız.

{verb} + {to} + {infinitive}
fiil + to + fiil
I managed to leave : Ayrılmayı becerdim/başardım (manage ve leave fiilleri birlikte kullanılıyor. Ana fiil normal çekiliyor. Sonra gelen fiil “to” haliyle  geliyor yanına)

Yanına bir fiil aldığında o fiili “to” haliyle alan fiiller grubu :
afford, agree, appear, arrange, ask, attempt, be, bear, beg, begin, care, choose, consent, dare, decide, determine, expect, fail, forget, happen, hate, have, help, hesitate, hope, intend, learn, like, love, manage, mean, need, neglect, offer, ought, plan, prefer, prepare, pretend, promise, propose, refuse, regret, remember, seem, start, swear, threaten, trouble, try, used, want, wish.

{verb} + {gerund}
fiil + fiilin “ing” li hali
I enjoy running in the morning : Ben sabah koşmaktan keyif alırım.

Bu grup fiiller:
admit, advise, appreciate, avoid, can’t help, can’t stand, consider, contemplate, delay, deny, detest, dislike, endure, enjoy, escape, excuse, face, feel like, finish, forgive, give up, go on, imagine, involve, keep, leave off, mention, mind, miss, postpone, practice, prefer, put off, resent, resist, risk, stop, suggest, understand.

These are some verbs that require the next verb to end  in  verb – ing
Eg:
Enjoy    I enjoy studying
Keep     I keep studying
Hate      I hate getting a bad mark
Finish   I finished studying
Stop      I stopped studying

Bazı fiiller yanına fiil adığında bunları ister “to” lu haliyle veya ister “ing” li haliyle alırlar.
